I live near a Barnes & Noble, and go on fairly long walks with my dog Harry. Our county and town have ‘blue laws’ where most stores are closed on Sundays. Last Sunday we took our trot past the display windows of the B&N superstore, and I guess with Easter coming up, this was one of the books on display, along with other “childish” Bible books. Missing were any weighty books on religious subjects, or even egg-coloring books. So perhaps The Savior’s “second life” wasn’t the theme after all. Either way, this book with its title and its artwork reached right out through the otherwise solid pane and poked my chortle button.

Just thought I’d share… until I write a more serious blog dissertation. Hmmm… perhaps this is a message, a sign(!) that I should turn to the Go[o]d Book for inspiration, to some of the greatest stories ever told. Ripping good yarns from the Testament of Old! But as no one is reading this, I probably don’t need to let you know how that turns out.
